Vector Processor Screen:
| From this screen you can activate test patterns, query the processor for
information, set IP addresses, download firmware, etc. Across the top are pull down menus and buttons for test patterns. To select a pattern, click the button for the desired pattern. Some patterns may be different depending on the version of firmware in the processor you are working with. |

| The large window is a monitor area that lists the actions and feedback information to and from the processor. Clicking on the file menu, you can open a log file to keep a record of all activity. You will be prompted for a file name if you click Open Log File. To stop logging info click the file menu again and select close log. It can be viewed with Notepad or the windows log file viewer. | ![]() |
| The buttons at the bottom of the screen are used to retrieve information from the processor, to reset the show buffer, and set the IP address for the Ethernet communications port. | ![]() |
| Selecting CommParams will pop up a window to configure the port and baud rate. The baud rate must match the processor's. | ![]() |

| Download to Vector has two submenus, Auto Download, and Manual Download | ![]() |
| Auto Download will prompt you for a filename to read from and automatically upgrade or download the firmware to every card in the processor cage. After selecting the correct file , click start download. | ![]() |
| Manual Download enables access to the processor cards on an individual basis. Select the card in the Download To box and the correct Filename to download from. Select Start Download. | ![]() |
