1) Adj/Modes Menu:


Clicking on this menu will show choices for adjustments areas (1-5) and 6) Modes which will enable/disable the on screen displays on the projectors.

Picture Quality Adjust - Used to adjust color balance, brightness,
contrast, color level, tint, sharpness, and ABL settings.

Click Select ID button (or press F2) and enter the number of the projector
that you want to adjust. (** will select all projectors. An * in either digit will select
whole rows or columns if the ID type is 1 or 2 selected on Wall Info Menu).


Click the button for the item to be adjusted, or press the
letter key underlined in the button if you prefer not to use a mouse.
The item to be adjusted and the current value should be displayed on screen.
Then select one of the gray adjust buttons in the lower section of the menu
to increment or decrement the adjustment values while watching the results
on the screen.



The CRT button will access a pop-up menu to enable turning off or on any
color. (You must select an ID here as well). Press the Exit button to return to
the previous menu.


Mute Dspl button will turn off the on screen display to allow unobstructed view
of the screen. The display will come on again if you select another button.
Exit will take you back to the Adjustment /Operation Screen.

Detail Convergence - Used to adjust standard convergence items for each color.


These will affect both left and right sides for horizontal, and upper and lower sides for vertical simultaneously.
Refer to the service manual for the projector being adjusted if you are unfamiliar with these settings.

Input a Crosshatch Signal to the video wall using a non magnified singles mode.
Select the projector using Select ID.
The Menus across the top are used to select adjustment to 1) Horizontal or 2) Vertical convergence.
You may also access the other convergence menus from this area as well.
Current Selection is shown in the Title Bar of the screen.
Select the color to be adjusted using Red Adj, Blue Adj, or Green Adj. Adjustment item buttons will change color accordingly.
Select the Adjustment Item button (Static, Skew, Bow, etc.).
Use the Up 1, Down 1, +10, or -10 buttons to increase or decrease the value
while observing the results on the screen.
CRT on/off button can be used to control display of individual colors.
Exit will take you back to the Adjustment /Operation Screen.

Point Converge - Calls up the Point Convergence Screen

Area Converge - Calls up the Area Convergence Screen

 

Point Convergence - Used to adjust convergence using an on screen cursor.

Input a Crosshatch Signal to the video wall using a non magnified singles mode.
Select the projector using Select ID.
The Menus across the top are used to select adjustment to Outer or Inner areas convergence.
You may also access the other convergence menus from this area as well.
Current Selection is shown in the Title Bar of the screen.

 

 

Outer (Peripheral)
This will adjust whole rows (5) or columns (5).
Select the color to be adjusted using Red Adj, Blue Adj, or Green Adj. Adjustment item
buttons will change color accordingly.
Select the Adjustment Item button (A-J.).
Use the Up 1, Down 1, Left, or Right buttons to adjust the area where the cursor is located
while observing the results on the screen.

 

Inside
Allows adjustment of 25 individual points on the screen that are essentially the
intersections of the 5 horizontal and 5 vertical areas shown in the outer screen.
Select the color to be adjusted using Red Adj, Blue Adj, or Green Adj. Adjustment item
buttons will change color accordingly.
Select the Adjustment Item button (A-Y.).
Use the Up 1, Down 1, Left, or Right buttons to adjust the area where the cursor is located
while observing the results on the screen.

Detail
Calls up the Detail Convergence Screen.

Area
Calls up the Area Convergence Screen.

 

 

Area Convergence

Similar to Detail Convergence except that these will affect left, right, upper, and lower areas separately.


Deflection (Master Geometry)

These adjustments affect all three colors at the same time.
Input a Crosshatch Signal to the video wall using a magnified mode.
Select the projector using Select ID.
Select the Adjustment Item button (Static, Skew, Bow, etc.).
Use the Up 1, Down 1, +10, or -10 buttons to increase or decrease the value while observing the
results on screen.
